i am also researching tension rods, and leaning toward the powertrix brand. i would prefer a rubber bushing to dampen the shock and stress the rods are exposed to, but i think you must use a solid bushing when using an adjustable upper control arm.
if i wasn't getting adjustable arms, i would probably get these.

they are for a 240, but i think i read they will work on a z.
